Cheer up Violet Petal!

2 days after I drew Shooting Star for Shou, I get assigned by  and her Secret Santa project to take up Shou's request coincidentally. My reaction: x.x

Well, for two solid weeks straight my spare thinking time was spent going over how I was going to draw Shooting again. Nothing came to mind until I asked Shou indirectly which of his OC's deserves a hug the most. Surprise Violet Petal! (She's probably wondering if Shooting put my OC up to this.)

This was great fun to draw, and I felt the colors of the two OC's matched really well. I also think Violet could use a really good friend. As I see it in my mind the two would make an odd friendship, if not an interesting one. Violet's a NSFW pony while Clover is far, far away from anything NSFW. Still I think in Clover's nature she's oblivious to how some might view Clover's outfit. (She sees things differently when it comes to socks though.) To add to this Clover takes pride in her outfit. Having a job kind of drives her forward so its easy-ish relating to how Violet keeps her outfit on most of the time.

Little things aside Clover appreciates it when someone's there for her when she's down more than anything, and she tries to make it a point to do the same for those that might need it most. Clover's willing to look past things that she may disagree with in order to help out when somepony is feeling less of their full potential.
